Museum of Industrial Heritage

The collection of machinery is subdivided into 4 sections: automatic machines, motors, components and electromedical devices.

The collection aligns well with the guiding concept of the typical approach adopted by the Museum: the valorization of the particular industrial characteristics of the city via historical, documentary and typological research into company histories (from the protagonists to the products).

The Museum is thus strongly bound to the local economic fabric, assuming a role as promoter of the image of the Bologna area through the excellence of its articles on international markets, innovation applied to products and production processes in different historical periods, the quality of its human resources, and the unique developmental models that were forged and implemented here.
