Archaeological Museum of Bologna

This little punch with the image of San Petronio was used to make the reverse of half shield of 50 bolognini, issued by the mint of Bologna for the Pope Pius VI (1775-1799). San Petronio holds the miter and is seated on the left in the clouds; has his right arm raised in the act of blessing and holding the base of the pastoral.

In the lower part the beginning of the representation of cardinal's hat and the lion's head, which sstand above Bologna's emblems.
