The fibula has a ribbon arc adorned with a center rib and fixed to the needle by a hinge; the short bracket ends with a globule appendix.
This is a very widespread type in the first part of imperial period, called Aucissa by the name of the celtic producer foun in a part of its head, nexto to the hinge. The type, produced in the north of Italy since the last quarter of the 1st century BC, spreads out during the 1st century AD in roman provinces.
